Mr. Albert Hawkins Jr. was born April 24, 1938, in Lake Wales, Florida. He was affectionately known by family and friends as “Hawk.” Albert departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 and is now safe in his eternal home where there is nothing but peace, love, and joy. After retiring as principal from Winfield Scott School #2 in Elizabeth New Jersey, he returned home. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity,Inc., a board member of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, a board member of the NAACP and also a board member of the Green & Gold Foundation. Albert, believed that a good education is one of the greatest equalizers in society.
