I was truly blessed to have had Mrs. Betty Perry as my stepmom. I shared some great moments with my stepmom during my visits to Florida to see her and my father. I’m thankful for her love and support for me and especially for my father. That’s one of many things I will truly miss about her. I will miss our phone conversations which often focus on her worrying about my dad. I will miss her laughter, I will miss her beautiful smile and I will cherish the memories of the last phone conversation we had a few months ago. During that call, she not once told me that she was sick rather she only care about how I was doing. That was just who she was and that will be how I will remember her.
