My condolences to the family of Clarence “Rick” Brown. He was a man with a winning smile and delightful laugh whom I got to know at Grand Valley University. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. I pray the peace of Christ and the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with you all at this sad time. ?

What love God’s Son for us showed when he left his Father’s abode that with men he might live, God’s Truth he could give. Greatly he did comfort mankind, healed those who were sick, lame and blind. To his royal commission he proved true and lovingly said: “I want to.” When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we pray for God’s Kingdom to come. In that future Kingdom, God’s Word says that Jesus will once again call out in a loud voice to our dead loved ones just like he did to Lazarus: “COME OUT!” He will call out again because: “He wants to!” Luke 5:13 John 11:25
