We first met Mr. and Mrs. Knox through their children, Ernest and Tanya, while in elementary school (my sibs are Sheryl, Butch, Lori, Ardis and Blake Johnson). Mrs. Knox and our dad, Mr. Stanley Johnson, Sr. worked at the Tank Arsenal in Warren, MI. I worked a summer stint at the Tank while in college and remember Mrs. Knox as a ‘force’ who also had such a beautiful disposition and a smile I can still see! Mrs. Knox later hosted a retirement party for our dad that was well attended and very much appreciated. I am truly sorry for your loss and am praying God’s strength and peace towards all of you.

I am in shock. Mine and my family’s deepest condolences are extended to the Knox Family. I was blessed beyond measure to have had Mrs. Hattie Knox as a mentor, spiritual enhancer, inspirer, encourager, girl scout leader, drama teacher, Sunday School, teacher, and a friend. Mrs. Knox will be so missed. Thank you Knox Family for sharing this awesome lady with so many of us for more than 50 years. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Her work has definitely spoken for her in the lives she touched and shaped. May you find the peace that passes all understanding. I love you, Mrs. Knox Merina Blackmon. Sending prayers of comfort and peace to the Knox family. Sister Knox was like a grandmother to Arielle and Dwight. She had a heart of gold and she gave it all to everyone that crossed her path. I’m praying for the family. May God give you the strength as mourn the loss of your love one. You have a wealth of memories to carry you through this journey. Sister Knox did it all and she was the BEST!
