Johnathan Bernard Brinson was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 23, 1952 to Emory James & Ruby Lee Brinson (Hicks). Bernard accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. He was educated in the Detroit Public School System and graduated from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. High School. Bernard worked as a Computer Technician for many years, loved playing cards, dominos and watching television at family gatherings.
Bernard was preceded in death by: his father Emory James Brinson; 2 sisters: Earlene Erwing and Jacqueline Brinson; 1 brother: Phillip Brinson.
Bernard leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Ruby Lee Hicks; 3 children: Toye Shemise Montgomery (Charles), of Atlanta GA, Tyree Deville Jackson of Atlanta GA, and Patrice Brinson of Detroit MI, ; 1 granddaughter: Keyi shemise Hayes of Atlanta GA; 1 grandson: Glenn Brinson of Detroit MI; 3 sisters: Patricia Barber, Delores Marks and Walnetta Brinson; 3 brothers: Emory James Brinson Jr., Anthony Lewis Brinson and Walter Brinson, 1 brother-inlaw: Melvin Barber Sr.; 4 sister-n-laws: Lou Brinson, Della Brinson, Judy Brinson, Jean Brinson and a host of nieces, nephews , family and friends.
