After a long, fruitful and productive life,Willie Mae McBurrows known affectionately as “Lil Mama”, came to the end of her earthly journey today,Wednesday December 26, 2018. She was surrounded by her family at her home-going. She was born June 4, 1932 in Lake Wales, Fl. to Elton and Alberta Green. She was married to the late Thaddous McBurrows for 46 years. She loved going fishing, cooking and sports. She was a member of Mt. Zion Progressive Baptist Church. After working over 40 years, Willie Mae, retired from Polk County School Board. Visitation hours will be Friday January 4, 2019 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Johnell Caver Your Home for Funerals. Home-going Celebration Saturday January 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Mt.
