Harriett Jones Harriett Jones was born February 3, 1959 to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones. Harriett attended the Detroit Public School system. She was affectionately known as “LUCKY”. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends playing cards. Her passion was reading and crocheting. When Lucky walked in the room, people were drawn to her because of her warm friendly spirit, and cheerful presence. She was always full of laughter, jokes, and stories of old times. Lucky was not only a good person, she was a loving and affectionate mother and grandmother. She was great with all children who came in her presence. Her spirit will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. Harriett leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother Marjorie Jones, her 5 brothers: Stanley Jones, Ricky Jones, Butch Jones, Ardell Jones, and Charles Jones (who proceeded her in death); 1 sister: Lavetta Jones, 1 daughter: Starnita (Kia) Jones 3 grandchildren, 5 god children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
