My brothers, sisters and a host of grands, friends and loved ones said a final farewell to my dear father today. My brother Pastor Bruce Jones did the eulogy and lifted our hearts in comfort with God’s word. My brother dear gave him an escorted procession like a king. We honored him and I believe he would have been proud. He was a smart man and everything he told me would come to be was so. I feel I we finished his business and respected his wishes, now he can rest and we can watch the fall. #Godsgotit #onlyGodshines #illseeyouagain #illmissyouforever

Petey Down · For years I prayed, worked, worried for, and prepared my sister for when my dad would be gone. Today I reaped. It was my sister who delivered me from the kryptonite. Tonight I am standing, but it is she and my wife you see, when you see me, this day. #Awomanslove? I am forever thankful. ?

Andreana Humphries is with Douglas Jones and Bruce Jones. Audtgufostoo a3fd · Pastor Jones was like another grandfather to me! He took me on trips, bought me bikes, let me come in the office and get diet vernors and them nasty butter scotch candies lmbo! He would put me up before anybody, he believed in me! I remember when my bike got stolen the next couple of days he came with another one. Pastor Jones and my granny would always argue because he let me have whatever I wanted and my granny wasn’t having it lol. Sooo many memories! Ms. E Lang ??I want some fried apple pies. New Israel Baptist Church is where it started for me, it’s my roots! He would use to say if you don’t know the key (sing strong and wrong) ?or when he preached? (when the newness wears off) forever in my heart ????Please keep his wife, sons , daughter and grandchildren in your prayers! #foreveryourdrummerGirl
